Meetings are intended for pre-transplant patients/families and early post-transplant patients and their supports. Other post transplant patients are invited to attend when they are in from out of town for assessment.
- Topics are subject to change without notice
- To ensure patient safety, CF patients, regardless of cepacia status, are not able to attend the support group. Family member and support persons of CF patients are encouraged to attend.
- CF patients may request supplementary information on any topic of interest discussed at these group meetings through Tara Bolden
- Support people may attend all meetings

MY NAME IS JENNY, AND THE DOCTORS OF TORONTO GENERAL GAVE ME THE CHANCE TO BREATH LIFE AGAIN BY PERFORMING THE UNTHINKABLE ON AUGUST 13 2006. I RECIEVED A DOUBLE LUNG TRANSPLANT. I WILL FOREVER BE THANKFUL TO THE FAMILY WHO DECIDED TO DONATE THIER LOVED ONES ORGANS. TO THE DOCTORS WHO PERFORMED MY SURGERY, YOU ARE ON MY MIND EVERYDAY THAT I TAKE A BREATH AND DO NOT STRUGGLE TO DO EVERYDAY CHORES.TO THE FRIENDS I MADE ALONG THE WAY AND TO THE FRIENDS WHO LOST THE BATTLE, I LOVE YOU, AND YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. YOU WERE MY INSPIRATION AND YOU WERE THE REASON I LOOKED DEATH IN THE FACE AND REALIZED IT'S JUST NOT MY TIME. I HAVE TOO MUCH LIVING TO DO.
